Accounts

Can I buy from Supertex?

We are a trade only supplier and we do not retail to the general public.

If you are a retail customer looking to buy our products, please speak to your local carpet/flooring retailer or fitter and ask if they have Supertex products in stock and keep a lookout for our flooring displays in stores.

How do I apply for an online account?

If you are already a customer of ours, simply get in touch and we can provide you with login details to use our online store.

If you are not already a customer of ours, please complete our contact form and we’ll get back to you with an account application form.

I have a credit account, can I use this online?

No. The online store requires payment up front.

Any invoices which are not paid by the agreed arrangement time with the directors of Supertex Furnishing Ltd will result in the account being put on stop until these invoices have been paid.

Supertex Furnishing Ltd will pursue outstanding and overdue accounts through the legal route until all monies owed are paid in full.

Delivery

Where do you deliver to?

We operate a regional network in the areas surrounding our warehouse in Leyland.

We cover the following postcodes and these are delivered to on the days specified below:

BB, BL, CH, FY, L, LA, M, OL, PR, SK1-SK8, SK14-SK16, WA & WN – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

BD, HD, HX, LS & WF – Monday, Wednesday & Friday

CW, ST & SK9-SK12 – Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

Can I order outside your delivery area?

If you are outside the above postcode areas, please call us on 01772 457070 to discuss.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery to the postcodes specified above is FREE. If you are outside of these areas and place an order over the phone, there will be a delivery charge added to the order.

Can I specify a day/time when my order will be delivered?

You can select a delivery day at checkout. Unfortunately, cannot guarantee delivery times.

Orders made Monday to Friday, for delivery the following working day, must be placed before 15:30 on the previous working day.

Can I collect my order from your warehouse?

Yes, you are welcome to collect from our warehouse. Orders placed before 15:30 should be ready to collect after 8am on the next working day. Orders placed after 15:30 should be ready to collect after 9am on the next working day.

Prices/ordering

How do I see prices and place an order?

You must be logged in to see prices and to order.

How can I see roll prices and order a full roll/s?

Please call us on 01772 457070 for roll prices and to order.

Can I order samples?

Samples can be requested from your rep or the sales office. We cannot guarantee the availability of requested samples.

 

Prices may be subject to alteration without notice.

Complaints/Returns

I have a complaint to make, what should I do?

Loss or damage of goods must be notified to us in writing within 5 days of receipt of goods. Failure to notify us will be deemed acceptance that the goods have been inspected by you and that they are satisfactory as to quality and quantity.

1) Flooring products should be inspected by dealers before cutting to close fit a room. Claims for manufacturing faults which could have been discovered by inspection before fitting will not be accepted.

No complaint will be accepted for improper fitting.

2) All carpets which have been installed where the faults have arisen, may be inspected by an independent consultant prior to uplifting.

3) No goods will be considered for exchange or credit unless proof of purchase is shown i.e. invoice numbers.

4) Returned goods will not be credited unless the apprpriate paperwork for the collection of goods has been issued by Supertex Furnishing Ltd.

5) Any items returned must be on tube, rolled and wrapped to a good standard.

Refitting

Under no circumstances can any refitting cost be reimbursed when material is replaced.

Cutting charges

A surcharge of £25 +VAT will be levied on any cancelled orders that have been cut. Only cut lengths greater than 2.99 linear metres will be accepted. Goods must be returned on a tube, wrapped and labelled.

 

Pattern/Colour match

Will my order colour/pattern match?

Please state note on your order of any colour or pattern match required.

 

Sizes

What is the cutting tolerance level?

The British Standards Institute Tolerance is + or – 1.25% either way. Clause 3BS 3655. Supertex Furnishing Ltd endeavour to remain within these tolerance levels. Any claims for tolerance outside this level must be inspected by a member of our staff.

 

Title of goods

All goods invoiced to the customer remain the property of Supertex Furnishing Ltd until the total amount due on the invoice has been paid in full. Supertex Furnishing Ltd has retention of title over unpaid goods and has the right to recover goods without notice.
